Wet but Wonderful Wales17 August, 2008
The culmination of a wonderful holiday in Wales was Sol winning his second Reserve CC and the Wires doing the double! Grateful thanks to the judges Denise Courtney and Jock MacKay.
 
Junior Warrant at NGA2 August, 2008
Sol won his final 3 points at National Gundog to gain his Junior Warrant (subject to KC confirmation). The Wires had a great day too with Chintz taking BOB and Zsa Zsa Reserve Best Bitch.
 
High Day at Harewood28 July, 2008
Leeds Championship Show proved to be another wonderful day for us with the Cwsscwns winning 5 firsts. Our Wirehaired Vizslas took most of the top awards - Best Bitch, Reserve Best Bitch and Reserve Best Dog! The Welshies did OK too with Sol winning Junior, Lottie and Sis 2nd & 3rd in Junior and 1st and 2nd in Novice.
 
Ecstatic at East of England16 July, 2008
Sol was awarded his first Reserve CC today at East of England champ show after winning Junior Dog. Not yet thirteen months old, we are immensely proud of our little man!

Riding High at East Riding Gundog29 June, 2008
Chintz delighted us yet again by winning Best AVNSC at East Riding Gundog show and then taking BEST IN SHOW. Sincere thanks to the judge, Eileen Gates.
Riding high as well were Sol, BOB, Lottie winning 2 classes and Sis winning A.V. Gundog Junior Bitch. Grateful thanks to judges Martin Dyer and Kay Woodward.
 
Cwsscwn Towers at Blackpool21 June, 2008
At Blackpool Championship show our own Beckham won Limit Dog, Lottie was again Best Puppy Bitch, Chanze won Junior Dog, Zsa Zsa won Junior Bitch and our own Chintz won Post Graduate Bitch, was Best Bitch and Best of Breed. Congratulations to Phil and Glynis Short, Shelagh and Gill Tolladay and Mike Lewin and sincere thanks to the judges John Thirlwell, Mark Hamer and Mike Gadsby.
 
Scottish Scorchers!18 June, 2008
Under the Scottish summer sun at Border Union our Cwsscwns delighted us yet again. Sol was Best Puppy in Breed and Lottie Best Puppy Bitch. Chintz who is still only 16 months old was Best Rare Breed. Sincere thanks to judges Catherine Dods and Robin Searle.

At the North of England Welsh Springer Spaniel Club Diva and Sol gave us a very memorable day when Diva won Open Bitch, was Best Bitch and Best in Show. Her son Sol won Puppy Dog, Novice Dog and was Best Puppy in Breed. Sincere thanks to the judge, Angela Ross.
 
Chintz is Crufts Best of Breed7 March, 2008
At just 13 months old and out of an entry of 67 dogs Chintz delighted us by winning Special Junior, Best Bitch and Best of Breed at Crufts 2008.
Huge thanks to the judge, Chris Atkinson, and to our fellow exhibitors for all their good wishes.
 
Chintz Tops the Puppies3 March, 2008
We are very proud to announce that C. Chintz is Top Puppy in Breed and joint runner up Top Rare Breed Puppy in the Dog World/Quistel Rare and Import Breeds Competition 2007. With 4 points she tied with the Kooikerhondje and was just one point behind the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.

Zsa Zsa (C. Chozen for Vynesbrook) has passed her K.C. Good Citizen Bronze award. Well done to her and Mike.
 
Chintz Unbeaten as a Puppy28 January, 2008
Chintz finished her puppy career by winning Best Puppy Bitch at Manchester and remaining unbeaten in the breed as a puppy. At the same show, we were thrilled to see Chanzer claim not only Best Puppy in Breed, but also Reserve Best Dog.
Not to be outdone, Sol was awarded Best Puppy in Breed in the Welsh Springer ring from Minor Puppy Dog.
 
Cwsscwn Christmas Crackers29 December, 2007
The first generation of Cwsscwns certainly did us proud at Goyt Valley Gundog open show today, with Chintz being awarded Best Puppy in Show and Sol awarded Reserve Best Puppy in Show. Chintz also made it to the last eight for Best in Show... Sissy was first in Any Variety Puppy Bitch and Lottie came home with cash after winning the Puppy Stakes.
 
Lottie's Debut Success28 December, 2007
Cwsscwn Northern Soul (Lottie) made her first appearance in the show ring today at Ashbourne open show, and came away Best Puppy in Breed. Another winning puppy to make Diva a proud mum!
 
Cwsscwn Christmas Cheer27 December, 2007
Chintz gave us a wonderful Christmas present today by winning the Puppy Group at Sleaford Open Show at Newark. She was also shortlisted for the Gundog Group, making it to the last eight!
Cwsscwn Soul Sister (Sissy) and Cwsscwn Soul Mate (Sol) made their debut at the same show. Sol was Best Puppy in Breed and Best of Breed while Sissy was Reserve Best of Breed. Not a bad start for Diva's babies!
 
Chintz Conquers Scotland10 November, 2007
A fabulous day for Cwsscwn at the Gundog Breeds Association of Scotland championship show today!
Chintz won the Puppy and Junior classes before being awarded Best Bitch, Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed. And her brother Chanzer contributed to the celebrations by being Reserve Best Dog!

A Grand Day Out28 October, 2007
At Yorkshire Gundog's open show in Huddersfield today, Chintz followed up her best Puppy in Breed at Midland Counties two days ago by being Best of Breed, Best Puppy in Breed, short-listed for the group and Reserve Best Puppy in Show! Thanks to judges David Alcorn and Jo Hesforth.
Quite a weekend for Chintz, as inbetween the two shows she went on her first shoot, impressing all who saw her.
 
Zsa Zsa impresses in the West Country22 September, 2007
At the West Country Dog Club open show, Zsa Zsa was Best Puppy in Breed after coming 4th in Junior.
Challenging for the group, Zsa Zsa was shortlisted by judge Roland Webb, who had also judged the breed classes.
Many thanks to Roland, and "Well Done" to Zsa Zsa and Mike!
 
Chintz Keeps On Winning!9 September, 2007
At Richmond champ show, Chintz beat four other puppy bitches to win her class and then beat her litter brother in the challenge to be awarded Best Puppy in Breed. Many thanks to judge Valerie Foss.
That makes three firsts in three champ shows - not a bad start to her showing career!
 
Wet, but Wonderful Wales19 August, 2007
The culmination of a fabulous week's caravanning (it's the only way to dog show!) in Builth Wells was for our first HWV litter to receive such wonderful comments from judge and ringside alike.
Grateful thanks to judge Jackie Ward for the awards and to our fellow exhibitors for their fabulous comments.

What a great day out!
Beckham (Cataluna By George) not only won a large Limit class at Leeds Championship Show under judge George Stevenson, but went on to be awarded the Reserve Challenge Certificate.
