Chris Who?Of course, there are two Chrisses, Morgan and Schofield. To many people they are interchangeable, at least most of the time! In practice they are very different characters, but they both love dogs and showing. They do work well as a team which is why most people seem to refer to them as a unit. Variously known as 'The Chrisses', 'Ant and Dec' or something unprintable they can usually be found together at shows.
Chris Morgan (left)An exhibitor for over 30 years, Chris's first breed was Irish Setters. She awards tickets in Irish and is now active in Welsh Springer Spaniels and Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas. Chris is Treasurer of the Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Association. Her own affix is Buckset. Chris Schofield (right)Chris has also been exhibiting and breeding gundogs for over 30 years. Her first breed was Irish Setters, but has also shown and bred Pointers and Italian Spinoni. Chris awards CC's in Irish Setters. Her main interest today is in Welsh Springer Spaniels and Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas, and is a committee member of the Hungarian Wirehaired Association. Her affix is Risanda. The PartnershipIn 2007, they registered a joint affix Cwsscwn (pronounced "Chriswin") to reflect the partnership between them. Why Cwsscwn? They're not really sure how it came about but Cwss could be pronounced "Chris" if you're short tongued and cwn is Welsh for dogs. The Cwss could also stand for Chris' Wires, Spaniels and Setters!
